David

   David encountered the trouble in the real life and he becomes a brave person like in his daydreaming. And he didn't daydream after that. So I think that he canged this scene.

    David often daydreams and he is a brave person in his daydreaming. We can be any kind of person in our daydreaming. So it allows us to change feeling or to escape from reality. I also often daydream. When I fail in my part-time job or I have  troubles, daydreaming makes me feel better. It is not good to daydream too much, but it helps us in many ways.

    If I were David, I can’t help Jack because he was bullying David. So, I think that David is a very good person and I want to be a person like him.

A Christmas Carol

  

      “A Merry Christmas to everybody!” shouted Scrooge. (p. 70)

     After he had a terrible dream that is the world after he died, he reformed his mind because everyone around him was pleased that he died. He thought that nobody likes him, so he felt terrible and lonely. Celebrating Christmas, he learned the importance of kindness and what a wonderful day Christmas Day is.    

      I thought that what we do now will lead to great future. So I want to try a good deed from now.

The Clever Woman

  

 “Go and see Linda McCormack! She’s a very clever woman. She knows the answer to everything.” (p. 13)

  

  I thought that “clever” meant she was good at studying or she knew many things. But actually she solved Mr Murphy’s problem in a simple way. If I have some trouble, I would like to consider an interesting solution like Linda McCormack. And I want to be a person like her because she made everyone happy.

The African Mask

    "They put it back in its old place." (P,24)

    Janet had a very bad dream. She saw the mask in her dream  and it looked like Donald. The next day, Fergus McClennan who is Donald’s solicitor told Janet that Donald died two weeks ago.

I thought that why this mask's owner does not receive any damage. If other person except this owner give this mask, would the person receive damage?
